Location is an important dimension of astrology!  Astrology of location is a practice that identifies supportive locations for you around the world so that you can lead a more fulfilling and rewarding life.  I am always looking for examples to research in current events.

Below are a series of short articles I am beginning to write over time that relate current events to astrology of location, which includes Astrocartography, Geodetics and Local Space (along with other techniques):

1 - 2010 Gulf of Mexico Oil Spill, The Cardinal T-Square and the Geodetic Map

2 - Relocation Checklist

3 - ...

I hope you enjoy reading these articles.  Please do let me know if you have any questions.

Blessings and peace, Scott Wolfram

2010 Gulf of Mexico Oil Spills, the Cardinal T-Square & The Geodetic Map

Return to Top of Page

The explosion on another oil well yesterday in the Gulf of Mexico reminded me of the BP / Deepwater Horizon oil spill earlier this year.  These two explosions occurred within 200 miles of one another.  While we do not know the outcome of this most recent oil well accident yet, the BP oil spill ultimately became the largest marine oil spill in history.

What is interesting is the connection between these two oil well incidents, the Great T-Square of 2010 and the Geodetic map.  The T-Square of 2010 combines the energies of Saturn opposing Uranus and Jupiter, all being squared by Pluto.

The direct T-Square connection is that, on the Geodetic map, the energy of the tension contained in this T-Square was focused directly over the place where both of these events took place.  This powerful combination has the potential to “blow up”, if there is too much pressure.  In fact, in the case of each explosion, the Geodetic Map shows Saturn, Uranus and Pluto over the location of the two explosions.  In both cases, Uranus is almost directly over each event, which is expected, as Uranus rules explosions.

Deep Water Horizon Oil Spill - April 20, 2010                                                   Mariner Platform Explosion - September 2, 2010

The Geodetic Map often identifies the location of natural, and, in this case, unnatural disasters.  However, I have not found it possible to predict such events with accuracy and I did not and do not make predictions of this type.  However, when we explore the astrological connections, there is often a direct link between the maps and the events.

Returning to the Great T-Square, I noted in my previous newsletter that the core message of the T-Square was “structural reform”.  These explosions provide an excellent illustration of the need for structural reform.  In this specific case, structural reform has to do with drilling for oil and everything that is connected with oil:

Structural reform can take many forms and these two oil well explosions are just one powerful example of the need for us to embrace structural reform.

Relocation Checklist

Here's a link to a checklist we are drafting with helpful hints about how to check out a location.  We assembled items we have found helpful in the past when checking out locations.  We hope you find it of use!
